4x Legend Recognized as One of the Best Players in the Country.

Four-time Legend and current Southeast Missouri junior shortstop Tyler Wilber was named a Third-Team Preseason All-American by Collegiate Baseball.

The 2020 Collegiate Baseball Preseason All-Americans feature a remarkable mix of talented NCAA Division I baseball players across the USA.

Last season, Wilber led the Redhawks in batting average (.383), hits (80), doubles (19), triples (3), RBI (40), slugging percentage (.531) and on-base percentage (.480). He was one of two players who started every game in 2019. Wilber posted 27 multiple-hit games, most on the team. Wilber was selected as First-Team All-Ohio Valley Conference after the 2019 campaign.

The Rossmoor, California native first played for the Legends Spring team in the ABCA Redshirt League as a high school senior in 2016, then played for Legends collegiate summer teams for three years. In 2018 Wilber was named Sunset Baseball League MVP after hitting .515 in the summer (50-97).

A quote from Jrod... "Tyler went from not playing on his high school team, to being named an All-American on the D1 level. Let that sink in. The kid is a tireless worker and is one of the most focused athletes I've ever coached. Tyler's road has not been conventional, but the belief he has in himself and his ability carried him to this level. He's a walking example of what a young ballplayer can do if he keeps focused and consistent. Tyler had the ability, he put in the time to unlock it, now the kid flat out rakes and the best part is, he's just getting started!"
