Now that every level of college baseball is in action I want to take a minute to reflect on what some of the guys are doing out there; because it's flat out incredible. Legends are doing big time things at all levels across the country.

Here are some examples:

This past weekend Connor Montgomery from Northern Illinois hit a home run in his first game of the season at Cal Baptist. Also hitting a home run in his first game of the season was catcher Riley Livingston for Holy Cross against Baylor. Two guys from last years team hit a bomb in their first game of the college season..... Beautiful.

In Tyler Wilber‘s first weekend as a Division 1 player at Southeast Missouri State, he started every game at shortstop, went  4-9 at the plate and had a 1.000 fielding percentage helping his team sweep Western Michigan.

Rylie Dent led his team to victory hitting leadoff for Valparaiso last weekend going 3-4 on Saturday with three RBIs and reaching base four times against Lipscomb.

We have guys performing like crazy across the country at all levels.

Rafeeq Rahim is batting .360 at Long Beach City College and hit an absolute tank at Irvine Valley College, a place where I've never seen a ball hit out to right field before.

Austin Spinney currently has a 0.69 ERA through 13 innings at Cypress College and his strikeout to walk ratio is almost 3:1.

Ty Cobb has logged one inning at Eastern New Mexico this season and struck out the side. Not surprised because he is filthy.

Joe Capris hit two triples and drove in four RBI for Pepperdine in their weekend series.

Will Anderson got his first career W on the mound for Westmont by tossing two scoreless innings at the end of a game vs.  University of British Columbia.

And finally, Gabe Garcia was hitting .455 through his first five games at Hawaii Pacific.

The craziest part is, I know I am missing guys, and some performances have slipped through the cracks. Not only that, but these guys I have mentioned are just the tip of the iceberg; there are so many current or former Legends out there playing critical roles in their team's success.

I can tell you this is no mistake, and it's only just the beginning because I know these kids, and they are incredibly talented.
